Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect the information you share with us.
Last updated: September 17, 2026
1. About this policy
This website is operated by North America Glazing Corp. ("NAGC", "we", "us"), located at 590 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 3, Guelph ON N1C 0A1. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation. We do not sell personal information.
2. Information you give us
We collect the information you enter into forms on this site. Depending on the form, this includes your name, company name, email address, phone number, and the details of your message or inquiry.
Some forms collect additional details relevant to their purpose: a Request a Quote submission may include glass type, dimensions, quantities, configuration, and timeline; a meeting request includes your preferred meeting type, date, and time; a wholesale partnership inquiry includes your business type, estimated monthly volume, and current supplier situation; a careers application includes your area of interest.
Where a form allows it, we also collect files you choose to attach, such as drawings and specification sheets on a quote request, or a resume on a careers application.
3. Information from the chat assistant
This site includes an AI chat assistant. We collect the messages you type into it, along with the page you were on and the times the conversation started and ended. Please do not enter information in the chat that you would not want shared with our sales team.
To generate replies, the content of your conversation is sent to Anthropic, the provider of the Claude AI model that powers the assistant.
When a conversation ends, whether you end it yourself, it becomes inactive for five minutes, or you leave the site, a transcript is emailed to our sales team so we can follow up. If the conversation contains something that looks like an email address or phone number, that detail is included in the summary of the transcript.
4. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we collect limited technical information automatically, including your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, referring website, and the pages you view. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in section 6.
5. How we use your information
We use personal information to respond to quotes, inquiries, meeting requests, partnership applications, and job applications; to prepare and follow up on quotations and orders; to communicate with you about your inquiry; to understand how the site is used so we can improve it; and to measure and, in future, deliver advertising for our products and services.
We use this information for the purposes it was provided for. If we intend to use it for a materially different purpose, we will seek your consent first.
6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this site. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies on your device to distinguish visitors and sessions. We also use Google Tag Manager to manage these tags, and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page performance, which does not use cookies.
We have enabled Google Analytics Advertising Features, including Google Signals and remarketing audiences, and our Analytics property is linked to a Google Ads account. This means Google may use cookies and, for visitors signed in to a Google account who have allowed it, information from that account, to build audiences and to show our ads to you on other websites and services. You can control this in your Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using this site, though some measurement will no longer work.
7. Service providers we share information with
We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do use service providers who process information on our behalf, and only for the purposes described in this policy:
HubSpot hosts our customer relationship management system. Form submissions, including any attached files, are stored there. Google provides Analytics, Tag Manager, and Ads. Anthropic processes chat messages to generate the assistant's replies. Resend delivers chat transcript emails to our sales team. Vercel hosts this website and provides performance measurement.
These providers are located outside Canada, primarily in the United States. While your information is in another country, it may be accessible to the courts and law enforcement of that country under its laws. We use providers that offer contractual and technical protections comparable to those we apply ourselves.
8. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and quotation records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our business and legal obligations, including records of orders and correspondence. Careers applications are retained so we can consider you for current and future openings. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.
You may ask us to delete information we hold about you, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. This site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to our CRM and email systems is restricted to authorized staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and your rights
You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, and to withdraw your consent to our use of it, subject to legal and contractual restrictions. You may also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
To make a request, contact us at Info@northamericaglazing.com or +1 (226) 203-8254. We will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
11. Children
This is a business-to-business website and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Links to other websites
This site links to third-party websites, including our suppliers and our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date below reflects when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
14. Contact us
Questions or concerns about privacy, or requests to access, correct, or delete your information, can be directed to our privacy contact at Info@northamericaglazing.com or +1 (226) 203-8254, or by mail at 590 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Unit 3, Guelph ON N1C 0A1.
